Private Art Lessons

Nothing beats the undivided attention of private lessons for rapidly improving your art skills.  Private art lessons are great for helping students get over major hurdles, or if your are working on a special project and need more attention than a group class can offer.


Private art lessons are $40 / hour, with a one hour minimum.  Two or three hours are recommended for a private painting lesson.  Art lessons are usually held at the Student's house.  Lessons can be scheduled at Oro Valley Community Center, but there will be an additional $10/hour room rental fee.
​Travel fee charges always apply except when taught at OVCC immediately before or after a group class on the premises.  Please see diagram on page 2 of  "Class registration, policies & procedures" form under "Private Lessons" for travel fee zone prices. 

There is a cancelation charge for the lesson cost minus the driving fee if a private lesson is canceled with less than 48 hour notice.

Occasionally students like to schedule lessons with friends or family.  There is a shared lesson fee of an additional $15/hour per each student added, up to a total of four (4) students.
