EARLY BIRD SPECIAL ~ Register early and save an extra $10 on monthly art classes (must sign up at least 2 weeks before the first day of a new month) 

You can also sign up for individual art classes and pay as you go. "A La Carte" classes are $40 each.  Please check with Christine for available space before you register.

How to get there ~

The Oro Valley Community and Recreation Center is the former El Conquistador Country Club located on La Canada, South of Naranja, North of Lambert on the West side of La Canada.  There is good signage for the community center.

The Class is in the Fitness Center, not the main building.

When you drive up to the parking lot, the first structure you will come to is the tennis courts.  The sidewalk next to the tennis courts (south) leading to the swimming pool will take you to the Fitness Center.  Go to the front desk and they will direct you to the classroom.  There is a large 2-tiered cart available upon request (front desk) for hauling your supplies to and from your car.  There is also a wheel chair button that will automatically open the door for you when pushed, if your hands are full.

Building Entrance

This is where you enter.  The blue wheelchair button to auto open the door is on the first righthand pillar as you enter the ramada.  The front desk is directly inside.

To get to the Art Room

For most of the year (not the summer months), we have a glorious art room.  It is a little difficult to find if you don't know where you are going.  You can always ask someone at the front desk, and they will be happy to escort you. 

Once you have passed the front desk, go through the next set of double glass doors.  There will be a squash court on your right .  Immediately passed the court, there is a long hallway on your right.  Walk down the hallway.  If you come to the treadmills and exercise bikes, you have missed the hallway.

There is a sign at the hallway that you want directing to an indoor cycling room.

This is the hallway that you want.  Go ALL THE WAY to the end.  We are the LAST DOOR on the LEFT.
