Learn to paint expressive, loose, “Painterly” roses, pansies and more, from life
Learn to paint lovely flowers in this 3 week workshop! We will explore various flowers, including roses and pansies, and other seasonal flowers with the "Alla Prima" approach (Italian for "At the first"). This class will be about painting realistic, yet "Painterly" flowers, where the paint strokes are visible and NOT over worked. Emphasis will be on building the structure of flowers with paint, brush work, layering, value, color mixing, edges and painterly effects.
