Using the limited palette of colors made famous by Master Artist Anders Zorn, create a beautiful oil painting.
You will begin by mixing batches of colors and create a color chart for reference. You will then use your pre-mixed colors to paint a portrait from a photo you bring to the painting class. Emphasis will be on painting the portrait, not drawing, so you may use a transfer technique to quickly get the portrait image on your canvas. You can expect to develop a more sensitive eye to value, colors and color temperature shifts.
